Sale Agreement - Payment Plan
The Sale Agreement - Payment Plan is suitable for horse sales where the seller has agreed to allow the buyer to pay for the horse via monthly repayments. The agreement is 6 pages in total and includes the following:
price to be paid by equal monthly instalments;
first instalment due within 3 days;
the horse’s registration papers and vaccination records provided once paid in full;
retention of title clause protects the seller;
risk of injury to the horse passes on collection;
vet check within first month;
basic warranties: seller must disclose all health and soundness conditions, vices or behavioural issues; and
standard termination provisions and what happens upon termination (payments, horse collection, etc).
