Yes. The contract templates have been drafted by an equine lawyer for use in Australia. Each contract template allows you to insert the name of the state or territory that applies to your arrangement. If you’d like advice on law specific to your state/jurisdiction, please contact us.

When you buy a contract template, you are granted a limited licence to access and use the contract for your own personal use – once, for one horse only. You must not copy any part of the contract, re-use it, or send it to someone else to use.

The contract templates are in PDF format with blank fields throughout for you to complete to reflect the unique features of your arrangement.

The 9 contract templates available for purchase reflect the most common sale and lease arrangements, and have been drafted in a broad way to be adaptable to many cases. However, if your sale or lease arrangement is particularly unusual, high risk or involves a high value horse, or if you would like legal advice on your arrangement, please contact us and request a bespoke contract. An equine lawyer can provide advice on the terms of your horse sale or lease and draft a bespoke contract tailored to fit your requirements (from $550 inc GST).
